CELEBRATING THE 80TH ANNIVERSARY OF VIETNAM’S NATIONAL DAY

At Ba Dinh Square, before tens of thousands of compatriots, President Ho Chi Minh, with a solemn and emotional voice, read the Declaration of Independence. From that historic moment, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam was born, affirming before the entire world that Vietnam is a free and independent nation.

Eighty years have passed since that sacred day, when the Vietnamese people stood tall, broke the colonial chains, and proclaimed independence and freedom. Eight decades of resilience, creativity, and sacrifice have carried Vietnam from hardship to peace, unity, and prosperity.

Throughout these 80 years, Vietnam has overcome countless challenges, setting aside the sorrows of war to build a stable and developing nation. With unwavering determination, the Vietnamese people have turned difficulties into opportunities, step by step affirming the country’s position on the international stage.
