Arabica coffee has the scientific name Coffea arabica, also known as tea coffee, with a caffeine content of 1-2% lower than half of the caffeine content of Robusta. Arabica coffee has 2 types, moka coffee and catimor coffee, with more aroma, longer and larger beans than Robusta coffee beans. This coffee is very popular with foreigners, especially in Western countries.
The suitable soil for Arabica coffee is basalt red soil and the suitable altitude is usually from 1000m – 1500m above sea level. The height of the mature coffee tree is 4-6m. If in Colombia and Portugal Arabica coffee is the strength, in Vietnam the planting area is only about 10% of the total coffee growing area in Vietnam.
