On December 6, 2022, NIC GROUP officially signed a memorandum of understanding with the Faculty of Information Technology – Vietnam National University of Agriculture. This event emphasizes the long-term vision and commitment to action to harness the strengths of all participants, including the integration of educating students in information technology and developing software for digitization and application activities in agriculture production and business.
According to the agreement, with outstanding strengths in education & academia, the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture will support BH Software in selecting excellent students to participate in internships, aiming to work long-term at the enterprise. In addition, the Faculty of Information Technology teachers will participate in research and coordinate the development of software or modules used in agricultural software. This will be according to actual requirements from BH Software.
BH Software will create conditions for students to practice at the Company. It will also organize for students and lecturers of the Academy to have the opportunity to experience practical experience in factories and growing areas belonging to NIC GROUP. Lastly, BH Software will collaborate with the Academy to develop agricultural software such as management – traceability, smart sales using big data and agricultural production management.
Dr. Pham Bao Duong, Associate Professor – Deputy Director of the Vietnam National University Of Agriculture, shared: “Digital transformation in agriculture is currently a hot topic in the agricultural sector, even in the whole of Vietnam.” With a common aspiration for the development of digital agriculture in the 4.0 era, the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture believes that the results of the upcoming efforts between the two sides will contribute to creating positive changes for agriculture in our country. In researching and preparing for cooperation, BH Software, in particular, & NIC GROUP, in general, made a powerful impression on us. The NIC GROUP ecosystem member companies are ideally suited to the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture training programs. The Academy wishes to cooperate with NIC GROUP more comprehensively in all fields: Information Technology, Production, Export of Agricultural Products and Human Resources Services.”
Cooperation with the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture is one of the first steps in BH Software’s roadmap to building software for agriculture.

Dr Nguyen Cong Tiep, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology at the Vietnam National University Of Agriculture, also shared the desire for the two sides to become each other’s strategic partners, with the principle of win-win & sustainable cooperation to create positive values for Vietnam’s digital transformation and digital economy.
Nguyen Ba Tin, director of BH Software, noted that the company’s future orientation extends to agricultural products and to forestry, fishing, and animal husbandry. The development of the industry is considerable, and it takes dedicated hands & minds to work together to make Vietnam’s economy more and more modern.
Also, at the signing ceremony, the NIC GROUP & BH Software representatives awarded scholarships to 5 excellent students from the Faculty of Information Technology. The scholarships had a total value of up to 46,000,000 VND. The Company will consider giving scholarships to sponsored students from the Faculty of IT-VNUA and the Academy in the following years based on the effectiveness of the cooperation and the actual business situation.
At the end of the program, NIC GROUP & Vietnam Academy of Agriculture agreed to work together to develop human resources & software for agriculture. This demonstrates the enthusiasm of both parties for Vietnamese agriculture’s modern & sustainable development.
